Ive decided that since my young blog is to be about Book and Movies and other published works that I shouldn't overload it with too many books all at once. Therefore I decided to read a play titled
"The Mouse That Roared" as my second submission. I heard about this play through my father while we were discussing Peter Sellers who subsequently acted as part of the motion picture version of this play. I have yet to watch the movie, which is currently first on my Netflix que, but if it is half as good as the play I assume it will be right up to par with Peter Sellers other amazing movies which include "Being There," "Dr. Strange love" and the "Pink Panther Series". The play tells the story of a small country, Grand Fenwick, that declares war on the United States so that they will rebuild the country after they inevitably invade. In a hilarious turn of events the Grand Fenwick wins and the United States is forced to surrender without a single shot being fired. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a spare couple hours and a desire to be warmly entertained. Its not a laugh out loud type of comedy but it sure brought a smile to my face and a warm feeling to my heart. I can't wait for the movie to arrive!
